A buyer clearly scammed me - stated she never received the item. I provided them with all the information, tracking updates, number etc and reached out to them to help me but they excused it. Even simply looking up the tracking number would have shown she collected it and it was delivered. Disgusting company - don't use.

I love Depop, the best affordable finds and incredibly easy to use. I’ve had a few issues and always get quick communication both with staff and sellers alike. My house burned down last year and I used Depop to rebuild my closet, which otherwise would’ve been impossible in the midst of the pandemic !! Love y’all, mean it.

Depop owes me a refund on the fee they charge due to me having to refund a buyer. It's all through PayPal and neither platform knows how the other words. (Like why?) You have to issue refund via PayPal and Depop won't refund their fee taken from you back until YOU reach out and request it (Dumb). I have emailed this company MULTIPLE times and they still have yet to remedy the situation and return MY money. I sent all proof needed and I keep getting the run around from incompetent agents who don't even read my emails it seems. This company sucks. I'm a 5 star seller and have sold nearly 100 items and they do this. They've made plenty money off of my sales and can't refund a $12.83?! Oh, and the fees are way to high now. Stay away.

I bought a couple of things. When you're not logged in, you can see when a seller has last been active but when you are, depop hides that information. I'm guessing this is to encourage sales. So you buy and then the seller doesn't ship and weeks later you learn that depop's so called guarantee is just pointing you to the paypal page to make a claim. Awful. Don't waste your money on unavailable things from sellers who collect and don't ship.

deleted my account for no reason. Depop rave about their ethics and guidelines however they let big accounts get away with anything they don’t allow dropshipping on the app however many huge accounts do this and people have reported them multiple times and depop don’t do anything. I started a small business on depop and had 2k followers and 5 star reviews it was a busy week for me and depop deleted my account with no explanation and told me they couldn’t do anything to help. I told them i needed to speak to buyers and sellers and they told me to just refund them. Utter crap hole of a company they let people overprice ridiculous things on there but it’s okay for them because they take most of everybody’s profit anyway please don’t bother starting a business with depop bevause if you don’t have over 10k followers they won’t care about your livelihood please sell and shop on either ebay etsy or vinted

please add a more detailed filtering system, relative to an online shopping website. its much easier for users.

Worst place to buy anything, full of scammers. I hv been scammed twice. So many counterfeit good, depop doesn't respond to any reports either.

A seller sold me a pair of pants that were heavily edited to appear to be a totally different color than they were in real life. I asked the seller respectfully what resolution we could come to. What did the seller do? She doxxed me on Reddit, then proceeded to call me crazy via DMs, harass me on Facebook and even deployed her friends to harass me. She also left a completely fictitious review on my account.

Depop sided with her, despite all the photos and screenshots I sent in of everything. I am so disgusted that she received absolutely no consequences for her unprofessional and unethical behavior. So it's okay she can endlessly harass and bully me, and I haven't even gotten a refund on the POS item I received which was completely inaccurately advertised, and she doesn't even get a slap on the wrist?

Completely unacceptable. Looking into my legal options against the seller and against Depop. Originally, Depop said the review I left on her account would be allowed, due to the mountains of evidence I sent them. Well suddenly, I get a random email from Depop saying my account has been flagged, and my review has been removed for abusive language. My review only stated the facts. Yes, I mentioned she posted my personal information to Reddit. All buyers should be made aware of this, so the same doesn't happen to them when they get scammed!

Great app to sell your clothes or anything really ! would love to see depop continue to grow

depop has some toxic people and sellers who overprice

Depop is a great place to easily make some extra money! During this pandemic it has been vital. However — in the long run it isn’t very sustainable. Depop has a flat 10% fee, on top of PayPal’s 3%. Their shipping prices are getting high and higher — this just makes buyers constantly ask for price reductions. The payoff isn’t that much considering external factors. Esp since their costumer service is horrendous, Ive lost money since no one would respond. Barely any seller protection. I would recommend it only if you want to sell a few things here and there. It’s expensive to purchase from aswell, however you can find rare items and get curated services.
